Gotcha!
After a day of adjusting, fine-tuning and tweaking, Seb and D are pleased to announce the definitive imagery for the Form Music identity.
We realized that a lot of people just didn't know what exactly music sourcing and licensing is. And so did we when we started this project. It gets clearer if you know that sourcing is an important part for film- and TV-productions.
So we thought:
Better than showing abstract images we chose the instruments of Form Music's daily work and arranged them in a playful and elegant setting.
Furthermore, the reduction in colour with a tendency to black & white and the increased contrasts is a manifestation of clear decisions – A great selection (the sourcing) is based on precise and pre-determined criteria.
thats it
it's not really detectable in these images, are you employing any depth-of-field (Tiefenschaerfe) in the pictures? because if you did i would like to recommend that you should not (i.e. take the pictures with a small aperture = high aperture number), it would interfere with the sterile chaos look.
tendency to black & white
but it's not really black and white, is it? just color photographs of rather achromatic erm, things? i like that very much. color in the details, like the blue plastic of the terminal on the back of this VCR.
i can see it all coming together. great work boyz!
