Patterns Revised

This is another revision of the graphical pattern which is going to be an important part of the Form Music Design.

As explained in previous posts, the patterns (deriving from the formats of the 7", 12" vinyl records and the CD) will express the music archive of the company as well as a substantial part of FM's work:

Sourcing and reviewing musical data on the basis of certain valuation criterias - organizing, filtering, and structuring.

umbrellas!

Be careful boys, i start getting all Mary Poppins and Singing In The Rain style associations; not so much in the new header, that's pretty lovely (i like the text typeface, hahaha), but in the red and white article image i seen umbrellas (and mushrooms, for that matter).

keep up the good work!

re: umbrellas!

i know what you're talking about. but trust me, you won't have any associations with umbrellas in the final design. a design of the website will be posted today.

i think you re finding what you have been looking for. i don't share the umbrella
and mushroom theory. you can see that in everything that is round somehow...
i am totally sure it is going to be a nice work. (already it is...) i am curious, how
you combine the two layers now...? good luck.

About sampler

This site is part of a diploma by The D and Seb in Graphic-Design at the University of Applied Sciences, Zurich.

Together with Mark Kirby from Vertical Form we are developing a visual identity for a sideline of Vertical Form called Form Music which will provide music consultancy, supervision and licensing solutions to the TV, film and advertising industries.

Sampler is here to make communication between him and us a lot easier. We hope that every important step concerning our work will be comprehensible.
