Visual Research Pt.1

A few works that caught our attention during research.
More will follow as we will put our hands on the graphical concept next week. The competitors and their websites
The core product of our work for Form Music will be the website, so we surfed the web for a few days to see how the competitors present themselves.
With only one exception, these sites are mostly badly done in terms of graphic design and interface design.
Nearly every site forces you to register before you can have a look at their catalogue. Furthermore, only a few sites offer pre-listening of the tracks (e.g. SonyMusicFinder).
It is clear, that the process of licensing/clearing music is complicated with different rights in various countries, prices that need to be negotiated etc etc – But we think sites like these can be much improved. Here are the smaller businesses that operate in various countries or worldwide.
